Procedure up to Output

This section explains the procedure up to printing using VersaWorks.
Procedure
  1. Set up the media in the printer.
    The setup method varies depending on the printer. Carry out setup according to the procedure in the printer's user's manual.
  2. Prepare the print data.
    The printing data to input into VersaWorks must be in one of the following file formats.
    • PDF*1
    • EPS
    • JPEG
    • PostScript
    • TIFF (with/without LZW compression)
  3. Start VersaWorks and select the printer to use.
    Click the image of the desired printer. The selected printer will be displayed with a white background.
  4. Add the printing data to the job list.
    There are five queue folders in the job list.
  5. Configure the advanced printing settings.
    Double-click the printing data added to the job list, or right-click and click Job Settings to open the Job Settings window. You can configure advanced printing settings such as layout and quality.
  6. Output the printing data.
    The data will be printed according to the configured settings (printed, printed and cut, etc.).
