Outputting from the Mac Client
When the client (computer where the print data is created) is a Mac computer, print via the RIP server (the computer on which VersaWorks is installed).
If you register the RIP server as a network printer on the client, you can send data to the RIP server for it to print. This section explains how to perform operations when using a Windows computer as the RIP server.
First, check the following items:
- The client is a Mac OS X (10.5 or later) machine.
- The user is logging on to the RIP server.
- The printer and the computers (RIP server and client) are connected correctly and are all switched on.
- The printer is set on the RIP server (the printer is registered in VersaWorks).
- The printer is ready to print (media has been set up).
