Different Monitor Colors and Printed Colors

You can select the quality of the preview image from High Quality, Standard Quality, and Low Quality. You can also perform monitor proofing using the RGB profile in order to display the preview with colors that closely approximate the actual output colors.

MEMO

In the monitor, colors are expressed as a combination of the three primary colors (RBG). However, when printed, colors are expressed as a combination of the ink colors (such as CMYK). This difference in principles results in different ranges of reproducible colors and makes it impossible to have the exact same colors in the monitor and on printed materials. In addition to this difference in principles, printed colors vary depending on factors such as differences in resolution, the color of the printing media, and the degree to which the ink has dried. Consequently, it is very difficult to match the monitor colors and the printed colors.

If the desired colors are not printed even after you have configured the above settings, use the Roland Color System Library.

The Roland Color System Library is a color library that can be used to print a color sample book with the printer and specify printing data approximating the desired output color while viewing this color sample book. This is not a mechanism for matching the monitor colors and the printed colors, but it does allow you to specify colors close to those you want to output.
