Adjusting the Eccentricity

Adjusts the height of the left and right sides of the support table to reduce the eccentricity of the object during loading.

Procedure
  1. Load the object.
    Select the media for which you want to adjust the eccentricity.
  2. Tap Panel_Icon_Menu.
  3. Tap Media Settings - Eccentricity Adjustment.
  4. Tap Execute.
  5. Adjust the angle of the support table.
    1. To adjust the angle of the support table left or right a little at a time while checking it visually, turn automatic measurement off and tap Panel_Icon_UpArrow or Panel_Icon_DownArrow.
    2. If you want to check while using automatic measurement, tap Turn on automatic measurement to switch the setting.
  6. Tap Eccentricity Check.
    The eccentricity results will appear.

    Make adjustments so that the eccentricity in the measurement results is 1 mm (0.04 in.) or less. The lower the amount of eccentricity, the cleaner the printing results.

  7. If adjustment is necessary, tap Readjust.
  8. Tap Save.
  9. Close the front cover.
    MEMO

    Be sure to hold the handle of the front cover and keep holding it until the cover is completely opened or closed.

    If you do not open and close the front cover gently, it may break or you may be injured.

  10. Tap Panel_Icon_Back.
    You are returned to the Media Settings screen.
