Fine-Tuning the Ink Discharge Amount and Discharge Speed

Change the discharge strength and temperature of the print heads to adjust the ink discharge amount and discharge speed.

IMPORTANT If the print head discharge strength/temperature settings are configured without an adequate understanding, the print quality may not be as the customer wanted. Before configuring these settings, contact your authorized dealer.
Procedure
  1. Tap Panel_Icon_Menu.
  2. Tap Preferences - Head Discharge Strength/Temperature Adjustment.
  3. Tap Panel_Icon_Toggle_ON to display the settings screen.
    Setting item/setting value Description
    H1 Head Discharge Strength Offset Sets the discharge strength of the print head.
    Head Heater Temperature Offset Sets the print head heater temperature.
    Pre-Heater Temperature Offset Sets the print heater temperature.
    H2 Head Discharge Strength Offset Sets the discharge strength of the print head.
    Head Heater Temperature Offset Sets the print head heater temperature.
    Pre-Heater Temperature Offset Sets the print heater temperature.
  4. Tap Panel_Icon_Minus or Panel_Icon_Plus for the item you want to adjust, and then configure the settings.
    MEMO
    • When you tap Panel_Icon_Toggle_ON to hide the settings screen, the set values are reset.
    • Default settings
      • Head Discharge Strength Offset: 0
      • Head Heater Temperature Offset: +0℃
      • Pre-Heater Temperature Offset: +0℃
  5. Tap Save.
  6. Tap Panel_Icon_Home.
    The home screen appears.
