Are you using media that is likely to reflect light or has deep colors?

When black crop marks are printed on light-reflective media, it may not be possible to read the crop marks.

First, perform Multi Sensor Adjustment. If the machine still fails to read the crop marks, try changing to white crop marks.

Procedure
  1. Execute Media Settings - Other Media Settings - Multi Sensor Adjustment to correct the sensor for reading crop marks.
  2. Tap Media Settings - Cutting Settings - Crop Cut Position Adjustment.
  3. Select High for Crop Mark Detection Sensitivity.
    Standard is set by default. When set to High, Crop Mark Detection Sensitivity becomes higher.
  4. Detect the crop marks.
    • When the machine successfully reads the crop marks: Cut with crop marks.
    • When the machine fails to read the crop marks: Print the crop marks in white. If the crop marks still cannot be read, change the media you are using.
