Preventing Soiling of the Object to Be Printed On and Dot Drop-out

Removing the ink buildup on the print head surface before or during printing prevents soiling of the object to be printed on, dot drop-out, and dot displacement.

In the following cases, ink tends to collect on the surface of the print heads.

  • When you use an object to be printed on that is prone to a buildup of static charge

  • When the ambient temperature is low.
