When the ink is not completely cured after printing is complete, cure the ink by illuminating it once again with the UV-LED lamp.
A characteristic of UV ink is that it cures quickly when exposed to light from the UV-LED lamp, but curing may be difficult for materials that absorb ink like cloth. This function may alleviate this symptom.
Procedure
Press [FUNCTION].
Press [▼] several times to display the screen shown below.
Press [ENTER].
The print heads move, and the print area is illuminated by the UV-LED lamp.
MEMO:
This function cannot be used if the setup of the object to be printed on has been canceled ([SETUP] is off).
The UV-LED lamp illuminates the print area configured in the setup of the object to be printed on.
To change the range of emission, readjust the print area.
The effect depends on the material of the object to be printed on.
You can stop the operation by pressing [ENTER] while operation is in progress.
With VersaWorks, you can configure the settings so that additional emission continues after printing without using this function. For more information, see the VersaWorks manual.
