2 Set the base printing position to the center of the print area.

Set the base printing position (home position) in the center of the print area. This setting method is appropriate when clear specification of the print area is difficult or when the print site is curved or uneven.

Print area setup can be performed with the front cover open. However, if the front cover is left open for approximately 40 seconds, the print heads automatically return to the home position. The menu returns to the previous one. Repeat the procedure.

  1. Press ▼ twice, and then press ▶ once to display the screen shown below.


  2. Press ▲ or ▼ to select CENTER.


  3. Press ENTER to confirm your entry.
  4. Press MENU, then ◀ to go back to the original screen.
    MEMO:

    Setting the base printing position to CENTER disables the [FUNCTION CHANGE ORIGIN] menu (Changing Just the Base (Home) Position).
