3. Perform cutting

Procedure
  1. Load the material.

  2. If Adobe Illustrator is not running, start it.

    Open the target file if it is not currently opened.

  3. Click File - Print.

    The Print window appears.

  4. Configure the following settings.
    1. Click the printer pull-down menu (), and then select GR2-640 or GR2-540 as the output destination.
    2. Select the Ignore Artboards () check box.

      Leave this check box unselected if the object is fitted perfectly to the artboard.

    3. Select the lower-left corner for Placement ().

  5. Click Printer.

    If a message appears, click Continue.

    The Print window appears.

  6. Click Preferences.

    The Printing Preferences window appears.

  7. Click the Cutter tab.
  8. Edit the cutting conditions.

    Click Load to load cutting condition presets.

  9. Select the Section Cut check box.
  10. Select the By Registration marks check box.

  11. Click the Paper tab.
  12. Click Get from Machine.

    The size (cutting area) of the material loaded in the cutting machine will be imported into Paper.

  13. Click OK.

    The Printing Preferences window closes.

  14. Click Print.

    The Print window closes.

  15. Click Done.
  16. Click File - Print.

    The Print window appears again.

    Using the preview window, check that the cutting data is displayed at the bottom left.

  17. Click Print.

    The data is output and cutting starts.
