Handling of This Machine

Do not remove covers or parts from this machine.

Doing so may result in electrical shock.

In the following situations, turn off the machine immediately and disconnect the power cord plug.

Do not cover the UV-LED device with paper or cloth or bring flammable objects close to the UV-LED device.

Doing so might cause fire or smoke.

Do not touch this machine when thunder or lightning is occurring in the immediate vicinity.

Doing so may result in electrical shock.

Do not bring your clothing or body close to the movable parts of the machine.

They might become caught in the machine, resulting in injury.

Do not wear necklaces, bracelets, etc. while using the machine.

Do not look directly at the UV light or apply the UV light to your skin.

The UV-LED device emits harmful ultraviolet (UV) light that might cause serious burns to your skin or eyes. Although you may feel the effect of a heat burn immediately, you might not feel a UV burn for several hours. Being exposed to radiation from the lamp for even a short time may result in serious burns to your skin or eyes. UV burns will affect the cornea, and you will need medical treatment. A UV burn is the same as a welding burn, and you will feel like you have a piece of sand in your eyes that you cannot wash out. This discomfort is temporary. Be very careful because receiving strong UV radiation may result in the loss of your eyesight.

Being exposed to UV radiation for a certain period of time will cause erythema on normal skin. As the UV radiant quantity reaching the Malpighian layer is very small, such erythema is transient and unlikely to cause a blister or sunburn. Be very careful because receiving strong UV radiation may result in a serious burn on your skin.

This machine emits UV light and conforms to IEC 62471 RISK GROUP 3. Do not expose your eyes and skin to this machine when no protection is in place to shield you from its light.

Do not touch the UV-LED device.

The UV-LED device becomes very hot during operation. Touching it may cause injury or burns.

Do not touch the parts labeled as having high temperatures or the areas around these parts.

Doing so may result in injury or burns. When touching high-temperature parts, wear heat-insulating gloves or something similar to protect the skin of your hands.

When the machine is on, do not place your hands under the gantry.

Your hands may be caught in the machine, resulting in injury.

Never climb on the table.

Doing so may result in injury. It may also decrease the table accuracy.

Clean the machine regularly.

Debris or dust collecting on the parts in use may cause current leakage or deterioration of the insulation, resulting in fire and smoke hazards.

Maintain the warning labels on this machine to ensure that they are readable at any time.

If the warning labels are not readable because they are dirty or have peeled off, contact your authorized dealer.

Do not touch buttons, switches, or knobs by mistake.

Touching them by mistake might activate the machine and cause an injury or unexpected accident.

Wear protection such as safety shoes and gloves when handling heavy media.

Failure to do this may cause injury.

Be sure to inspect the machine and replace specified parts periodically.

Never disassemble or modify the vacuum. Also, do not clog the vacuum's exhaust port.

Doing so might decrease the suction force and cause overheating or malfunction.
