Important Notes on Using the Machine
Even if you use safety devices and interlocking, mishandling this device leads to extremely dangerous situations.
With the machine, the gantry and print-head carriage move at high speeds across the flat table. Be sure to observe the following when the machine is on.
Gantry and print-head carriage
- Do not insert your hands into the gap between the gantry (1) and the print-head carriage (2).
Your hands may be pinched, leading to injury.
- Do not insert your hands into the gap between the print-head carriage and the maintenance station (3).
Your hands may be pinched, leading to injury.
- Do not touch the cable (4) of the print-head carriage.
Your hands may be caught, leading to injury.
- Do not bring your hands, face, or objects close to the gantry or print-head carriage.
The gantry or print-head carriage may collide with your hands or face or may send objects flying when it comes into contact with them, leading to injury.
- Do not needlessly approach or bring your hands or face close to the movable range of the gantry or print-head carriage.
The gantry or print-head carriage may collide with your hands or face or your hands or face may be pinched between the gantry and print-head carriage, leading to injury.
- Do not touch the cable carrier (5) or bring your hands or face close to it.
Your hands or face may be caught in the cable carrier, leading to injury.
- When the machine is operating, do not enter the gap between the computer holder (6) and the gantry.
You may be pinched between the computer holder and the gantry, leading to injury.
- When the machine is operating, do not approach the ink tank (7).
You may come into contact with the gantry, leading to injury.
Flat table
- Never climb on the flat table (8).
You may fall off, leading to injury. Additionally, the machine may be damaged.
- On the flat table, do not place anything other than objects to be printed on.
The machine may be damaged or the gantry or print-head carriage may send objects flying when it comes into contact with them, leading to injury.
- Do not spill liquid on the flat table.
You may receive an electrical shock. Additionally, the machine may be damaged.
- Do not insert your hands into the gaps (9) on the left and right edges of the flat table.
Your hands may be pinched, leading to injury.
- Do not open the cover (10) of the flat table and needlessly touch the internal parts.
You may receive an electrical shock. Additionally, the machine may be damaged.
Others
This machine uses UV ink and has a UV-LED device that cures the ink.
Follow the instructions regarding the clothing and equipment of certified operators.
- Do not look directly at UV light.
Without protective eyewear, clothing, etc. to protect your eyes and skin, you may receive serious burns even if you come into contact with UV light for just a short time.
- Do not operate the machine incorrectly.
The machine may move, leading to injury.
