Removing the Extension Table

Procedure
  1. Turn on the sub power if it is off.
  2. Open the front cover.
    If the media has not been removed, remove it now.
  3. Remove the screws (two locations) to remove the extension table (front side).

    Lift the extension table and pull out the left and right pins from the slits.

    The two removed screws will be used later to secure the front UV shield.

  4. Attach the front UV shield.
    Insert the left and right front UV shield pins into the slits indicated in the figures.

  5. Attach the screws (in two locations) and secure the front UV shield.

  6. Remove the screws (two locations) securing the extension table (back side) on the back of the printer, and pull the extension table toward you.

    IMPORTANT

    Store the two screws carefully so that you do not lose them. The screws will be needed when reattaching the extension table (back side).

  7. Close the rear UV shield.

  8. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_MENU on the printer's operation panel.
  9. Tap Preferences > Extension Table.
  10. Tap and select Disable, and then tap Save.

  11. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_HOME to return to the home screen.
