Out-of-ink Warnings

  • If two ink cartridges with the same color run out of ink: Printing pauses and a warning beep sounds.

    Refer to the screen display on the operation panel and the displays of the ink cartridge LEDs, pull out the empty cartridges, and insert new ones. Printing resumes.

    If an ink runs out, the numbers of the color that has run out flash.
    Lit Indicates that ink still remains
    Flashing Indicates that ink has run out
  • If one cartridge runs out of ink but there is still another cartridge with the same color: The operation panel screen continues displaying "NOW PROCESSING", and printing continues.

    Refer to the above explanations of the displays of the ink cartridge LEDs and pull out the empty cartridge.
