Connecting the Cables

Procedure
  1. Attach the four cable clamps.

  2. Connect the connector of the blower-fan unit to the drying-heater unit, securing the cable (A) with the harness clamp (B) on the top of the arm.
    • Pass the blower-fan unit cable along the left side of the bracket.
    • Use a number 1 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the connector screws.

  3. Connect the power cord to the power-cord connector.

  4. Pass the drying-heater unit cable (A) from the inside of the stand leg to the rear of the machine.
  5. Use the cable clamp (C) on the bottom of the arm to secure the power cord (B).

  6. Connect the drying-heater unit cable (A) to the DRYER connector on the machine, securing this cable with three cable clamps (B, C, and D).
    Use a number 1 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the connector screws.
  7. Secure the power cord (E) with a cable clamp (F) and connect this cord to the power supply.
    Use the power plug adapter if the electrical outlet is a 2-prong outlet.
    WARNING

    Perform this task with all power switches left switched off.

    Otherwise sudden movement of the machine may cause injury.

    WARNING

    Connect to an electrical outlet that complies with this machine's ratings (for voltage, frequency, and current).

    Incorrect voltage or insufficient current may cause fire or electrical shock.

    WARNING

    Connect to ground.

    This can prevent fire or electrical shock due to current leakage in the event of malfunction.
