When using the VG4-640/540, XG-640, XP-640, or VG3-640/540

When installation of this machine is complete, select Enable for Extended Dryer on the Preferences menu. If Enable is not selected, the temperature of the drying-heater unit will not increase even if the drying-heater unit power switch is turned on.

Procedure
  1. Set up the media.
    See the user's manual of the printer you are using.
  2. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_MENU.
  3. Tap Preferences - Extended Dryer.
  4. Tap Enable.
  5. Tap Save.
  6. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_HOME to return to the home screen.
