Maximum Printing Area and Margins
The printing area along the horizontal plane of the loaded media (the direction in which the carriages move) is determined by the margin setting.

Origin of printing coordinates | |
Printing area | |
Media clamp | |
A | 130 mm (5.12 in.) |
B | Side Margin setting value |
C | Width clamped by each media clamp: 4 mm (0.16 in.) |
B + C | Actual margin value*1 |
D | Max. 200,000 mm (7,874.01 in.) |
E | Max. 1,615 mm (63.58 in.) * When printing with the media clamps removed |
F | 650 mm (25.59 in.) |
*1 When the media is set up without attaching the media clamps, B (the margin setting value) alone is used for the margin value without considering C (the width clamped by each media clamp).
