| New from Template | Selects a saved template and begins editing as a new design, with the object and design settings carried over. | |
| Open from Computer | Uploads the illustrations, images, and other files on your computer, enabling these files to be added as design elements. However, the uploaded source files cannot be edited directly. | |
| Settings | You can change the settings for this software. | |
| User Name | Displays the email address of the user currently logged into Roland DG Connect. | |
| Support Chat | This is an auto-response support function that helps you resolve questions or problems when using this software. You can easily ask questions in a chat format, so please make use of this feature whenever you face a problem. |

| Save | Saves a design being edited. If you plan to reuse a design, select Save As Template to save the design as a template. | |

| Close | Closes the design window for the editing in progress and returns you to the dashboard. | |
| Design Toolbar | Includes tools for adding images, text, and other objects to the canvas. | |
| Operation panel | Displays the settings for a selected object. Clicking an item displays more detailed settings (if available). | |
| Canvas (Editing Area) | Place objects in this area to edit them and create data for output. Objects that extend beyond the canvas are not output. | |
