Adjusting the Print Head Height

This section explains how to make adjustments according to the unevenness of the print surface and is not for setting the print surface height. Set either "HIGH," "LOW," or "SpLOW" according to the unevenness of the print surface to prevent the print heads from rubbing during printing.
Procedure
  1. Press [MENU].
  2. Press [▼] several times to display the following screen.

  3. Press [▶]. After "NOW PROCESSING.." is displayed, the screen shown below appears.

  4. Open the front cover.
  5. Move the height-adjustment lever to adjust the head height.
When you change the position of the height-adjustment lever, the display screen changes and the buzzer sounds at the same time.

    Position Display screen
    "HIGH"

    "LOW"

    "SpLOW"

    MEMO
    • Normally move the height-adjustment lever to "LOW". Use "HIGH" for printing on objects that are easily wrinkled or that easily come loose due to poor suction during printing.

    • The printing quality degrades as the distance between the object to be printed on and the print heads increases. Do not move the height-adjustment lever to "HIGH" needlessly.

  6. Close the front cover.
