Adjustment When Cutting the Backing Paper (Perforated Cut)
Perforated cut is used when you want to cut the backing paper, such as when you want to cut out the printed part.
MEMO
Perforated cut is a function provided only with the BN2-30.
This function specifies the perforation location in the print data and performs the cutting. It is different from the perforated sheet cutting that cuts the backing paper at regular intervals when performing the sheet cutting that is used when separating the media.Turn the cap portion of the blade holder to adjust the amount of blade extension. Each indicator tick corresponds to 0.1 mm (3.9 mil), and adjustment for 0.5 mm (19.7 mil) can be made by rotating the cap one full turn.
The amount of blade extension () is 0 mm () at minimum and 2.5 mm (98.42 mil) () at maximum.
Set the amount of blade extension () so that when the cutter pierces the media (), the blade extends slightly.
IMPORTANT
Pushing the blade out too far will damage the blade and blade protector and hasten their deterioration, so exercise caution.
