Step 3: Perform a printing test to check the results.

Procedure
  1. Tap VG3_Panel_Icon_CLEANING Nozzle Drop-out Test on the home screen.
  2. Tap Execute next to Printing Test.
    Printing of the test pattern starts.
  3. Check whether there is dot drop-out or dot displacement in the test pattern.
    Missing blocks indicate dot drop-out. Collapsed or inclined blocks indicate dot displacement.


    IMPORTANT Depending on the media, locations on which optimizer ink is printed may be difficult to check. If it is difficult to see the optimizer ink, switch to a different media and perform the printing test again.
  4. If you have opened the front cover, close it.
    If no dot drop-out or dot displacement occurs, this operation is finished. Press AP-640_Panel_Icon_HOME to go back to the original screen.
If the dot drop-out or dot displacement location is different, perform powerful cleaning another two or three times. If dot drop-out or dot displacement occurs in the same location on the test pattern, contact your authorized dealer.
