Method for Eliminating Uneven Color Issues with Powerful Cleaning

When uneven color issues are not resolved even after performing ink mixing and Ink Circulation, perform the more forceful Powerful Cleaning to eliminate these issues. Uneven colors refers to the symptom of printed colors being uneven (such as the color density being inconsistent) even when the same data is printed with the same settings.
IMPORTANT

The ink in the print heads is discharged to stabilize the output color, so a certain amount of ink is consumed.

MEMO

If the media has already been set up, the After cleaning, perform a printing test. menu option will be displayed on the Powerful Cleaning screen. When this setting is turned on, a printing test is performed after cleaning.

Procedure
  1. Tap Panel_Icon_TestPrint.
  2. Tap Cleaning - Powerful Cleaning.
  3. Select Group A.

  4. Tap Execute.
    Cleaning will start. The details of the operation in progress and the (approximate) remaining time of that work are displayed in the status bar at the top of the screen.

    On completion, you will return to the original screen.

    If uneven output color issues are not resolved even after performing Powerful Cleaning, perform Light Choke Cleaning.
