Performing Printing Tests Arranged Horizontally

When performing printing tests successively, you can select FEED (vertical printing) or SCAN (horizontal printing) as the print position for the second and later tests in comparison to the first test.
  1. Press MENU.
  2. Press ▼ several times to display the screen shown below.


  3. Press ▶, then ▲ to display the screen shown below.


  4. Press ▶ to display the screen shown below.


  5. Press ▲ or ▼ to select SCAN.


    TEST PRINT POS Explanation
    SCAN The second and later printing tests will be printed side-by-side horizontally. If the area for printing in the scan direction is not sufficient, printing will be performed on the next line.
    NONE (Default settings) The second and later printing tests will be printed in the same position of the first printing test.
    FEED The second and later printing tests will be printed side-by-side vertically. If the area for printing in the feed direction is not sufficient, printing will be performed in the next column.
  6. Press ENTER to confirm your entry.
  7. Press MENU, then ◀ to go back to the original screen.
