1 Turn on the sub power.

Turn on the sub power to begin the day's work. If using white ink, be sure to mix the ink in the cartridge first.
  1. Open the front cover.
    IMPORTANT:

    Be sure to hold the handle of the front cover and open and close it gently.

  2. When using white ink, remove just the white ink cartridge, and shake it 50 times (about 20 seconds).
    So that the ink mixes well, shake the ink cartridge horizontally with a stroke length of around 5 cm (2 in.) from each end of the ink cartridge.


  3. Close the front cover.
  4. Press the sub power button.


    Initialization is complete when the following screen appears.
