Be sure to perform material feed if it is required. If you start cutting without checking the material feed, correct cutting results may not be obtained. In the worst case, it may cause an error or malfunction or damage to the material.


Materials that Require Feeding

Roll material and long, flat material that is longer than 1.6 m (63in.)

Procedure

  1. Press several times to display the screen shown in the figure.


  2. Press to display the screen shown in the figure.



  3. Press .

    The screen shown in the figure below is displayed.


  4. Press .
  5. Press the keys to set the value for the required length of the material.

    It is a good idea to set a value that is about 0.2 m (7-7/8in.) longer than the required material length.



  6. Press .

    The set length of the material moves out to the front, then is immediately pulled back and taken up again.

    Press the key to return to the screen shown in the figure. 


If the material comes loose

If the material comes loose from the pinch rollers, press the key to stop operation. Then reload the material, starting over from the beginning.
