Step 3: Set Perforated Cutting Conditions

Procedure

1. From the File menu, click Cutting Setup.

   
   

   Printer name: Roland GS-24

   
   

2. Uncheck the checkbox of Use perforated cutting conditions of machine.

   

   The values can be input.

3. Input the values of Cutting Conditions.

4. Set the length of each perforation to make in the material (the perforation length) and the length of the part that is not perforated because the blade force is reduced (the half-cut length).
   Adjust the half-cut force to suit the type of material or paper used.

   About the Perforation length/Half-cut length

   

   Perforation length > Half-cut length

   

   Perforation length = Half-cut length

   

   Perforation length < Half-cut length

   

5. Click OK.
